Bluefin Catering LLC was established in 2021 and today employs more than 500 people, providing large-scale food production and catering services at the Oyu Tolgoi project site in accordance with international standards.
Every day, we serve approximately 17,000 mining personnel with a diverse menu featuring 450+ main dishes inspired by the cuisines of more than 25 countries, 120 varieties of salads, and 120 varieties of bakery and dessert items. We also produce packaged hot and cold meals for more than 6,000 employees, along with eco-conscious, vegan, vegetarian, and fitness-focused meal options. In addition, we have introduced a specialized hot meal delivery service for underground mine personnel.
As part of our commitment to sustainable local development, we work with 34 suppliers across five soums, with total procurement reaching MNT 61.8 billion, contributing to the creation and support of more than 109 indirect jobs.
